Scavenger Hunt Fun…they just can’t get enough!

Do your kids need to get outside? Do you need a moment of quiet to check your email or get some of your work done? I’ve got another great Scavenger Hunt for you!

Kids LOVE Scavenger Hunts! They also love a challenge. After completing an ABC outdoor scavenger hunt earlier this week, my kids have been begging me to come up with more…

ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE…

BACKYARD SCAVENGER HUNT #2

This Scavenger Hunt had the kids looking for all kids of different objects! You simply give each child a bag to collect their item and the list of items they are collecting and off they go! I actually only printed one list and they just marked their initial on the paper when they found each item!

My kids were running around trying to be the first one finished…of course, it’s always a race at our house! When they completed their hunt, they were so excited to show me the items they found in our yard! They ran into the kitchen and dumped their bags on the counter!

Next, we decided it would be fun to get creative! They each got a blank piece of paper and decided to create something out of their findings. The pictures below show what they came up with! Aren’t they so cute! I love what kids come up with!

My kids are begging for “outdoor challenges” (that’s what they call them)! Earlier this week we did an ABC Scavenger Hunt and worked together as a team to collect something that begins with each letter of the alphabet! Since then, my kids have been asking for more… If you would like a copy of this ABC Scavenger Hunt you can get it on my Freebies page or just click here.

Another fun idea is a neighborhood photo scavenger hunt! This can be really fun with neighborhood friends! Even when we cannot play together due to germs everywhere. If a group of neighborhood friends all completed the same scavenger hunt each household could compete against each other. Check out this idea here that I found on Pinterest!

Leave me a comment to share how your kids enjoyed these activities! It’s so great to share ideas! I’d love to hear your ideas too!!!
