Brown Paper Packages Tied up with String!
These are a few of our FAVORITE THINGS!!!
Hey friends, I’m doing a special edition of Christmas Shopping Fun! If you know me at all, you know that I actually do not like to shop! I get so stressed about the amount I’m spending and whether or not the gift is just right!
So I asked my kids to help me put together a list of their favorite gifts and what they are asking for this year. Some of these we already have and they have been our favorites. Others are what my kiddos are hoping to get this year.
I did the work and found the amazon links for you! All you have do is click on the link and you can check out the options! Enjoy!
Also, if there is something that you know kids will love that I didn’t include, please leave me a comment at the bottom of this post! This way we can share our great gift giving ideas!
Cooper’s Top Picks (boys age 5-10)
BeyBlades
Let me tell you, last year this was all Cooper wanted!!!! He got it, then he started watching the show and learning about each Beyblades character traits, it’s seriously like he’s speaking a foreign language. But, he still loves them and is asking for more this year! There are so many different sets of Beyblades. Click here to see all the options for Beyblade gifts ! The best part, it once they have an arena, they are inexpensive gift ideas to offer to family members. They can add on and always want more!
Nerf
This is our favorite family gift! Last year Santa bought one for each kid along with a vest to hold their bullets. This year, I think mom and dad are hoping Santa brings one for them. I mean, parents need to defend themselves from nerf bullet attacks, right!
Street Hockey
If you know us well, then you know that hockey is a year round sport in our house. We play in the basement, in the driveway, anywhere possible, we play hockey! rollerblades and helmet and extra hockey sticks for your friends to play! This is a fun way to get all the neighborhood kids playing together.
Knee Hockey Fun!
Our kids love to play knee hockey as a family! However, it’s quite hard on the knees…so this year, we are putting some Puzzle Mat Flooring in our basement and lining the perimeter with netting so the pucks and balls stay in the playing area! Any age and any gender…it’s fun for all.
Roller Blades
My kids seriously have gone through so many pairs of roller blades! For this reason, I’m including a link for replacement wheels! They probably rollerblade more than they ride their bikes. Roller blades and new helmets are on their lists this year! Plus, street hockey is much more fun when you have on your roller blades!

We also use Christmas as a time to Pucks and Hockey Tape make a great stocking stuffer!
Xbox and Nintendo Switch
I’m not a huge fan of video games, but we all know that kids are! This was great during quarantine because our kids could communicate and play with their friends without being together. Another great thing about Xbox gifts is that you are always safe to get the XBOX gift cards. This way you can spend any amount and they can use it on something they know they want. Any kid would be happy getting their favorite video game for Christmas.

If you know me well, you are probably calling me out right now! I did NOT ever want an Alexa. Seriously, the last thing I need is another voice talking in this house. But I will tell you…WE ALL LOVE ALEXA!!!!! My kids have the Echo Dot in their room. It gives them quiet music at night, pump up music during the day, and dance music while they clean their rooms. They also ask her what the weather is every morning so they know if we need hats and gloves. I highly recommend this product! Click here to see all Alexa products.
