In Person Visits

Single Assembly Package – $300 (+Travel Expenses)

The Assembly Package includes a presentation (about 45 min.) for up to 200 students.

Standard Package- $300 (+Travel Expenses)

Typical Standard Package includes up to 5 room-to-room storytimes that include a lesson and/or Q&A Session. (not to exceed 3 hours)

  • J is for Journey: Discuss the learning journey and it’s impact on RESILIENCE
  • The Writing Process
  • Creating a Path: practice makes progress
  • Goal Setting: breaking down a BIG dream into tiny steps.

(Optional) Free Bonus 30-minute book signing session. This is a time where students who bought the book can get it signed and interact with me.

Family/Evening Event Presentation- $300

45 min presentation + book signing

Virtual Pricing

Virtual Presentation Package – $250

45 min presentation for a group of up to 200. Erin will share The Learning Journey and how it builds resilience, share her books, and allow time for Q&A.

Single Presentation – $100

30-45 min. virtual presentation with your class. Erin will share her books and give time for Q&A.

FAQ’s

  • What are your travel fees?
    • Erin travels from her home in Midland, Michigan. Travel and lodging fees may be shared between schools.
      • up to 1 hr. drive – No Travel Fee
      • 1-2 hr. drive – $0.70/mile
      • 2+ hr. drive – $0.70/mile and hotel accommodations
  • How do you handle book orders?
    • I will email a parent letter for you to print and send home, as well as an order form to keep track of the orders that come in. I will check with you before my visit so that I know how many books to bring with me to the visit.
  • Do you have suggestions for funding a visit?
    • Oftentimes, your PTO can fund the Author Visit.
    • Some schools have used funds from fundraisers, Title 1 funds, Library/Media funds, conduct read-a-thons, or local/educational grants.
    • Discounts Available:
      • $100 off for each school when booking more than one school (consecutive days required if a hotel is needed). Travel and lodging fees may be shared between schools.
      • $100 off for each day when booking more than one day of visits (consecutive days required if a hotel is needed).
      • Share travel expenses with another school near you by having me visit two (sometimes three) schools in one day.
      • 10% discount on the author visit fee when you buy a book for every student. Purchase a book for every student in your school for $10 each. You may choose any paperback title (or mix and match), which retails for $12.99. Inform Erin of your intentions to buy a book for each student prior to signing the contract.
